Sometimes a yard just needs to be pulled together. The bones are already there - good shrubs, decent layout, solid plants - but without fresh mulch, tight edges, and a proper trim, it all just kind of blends into the background. That's exactly what we were working with here.

We came in and handled the whole thing. Fresh black mulch across the beds, bed edging cut clean along the lawn line, and every shrub shaped up so it actually looks intentional. The difference that clean edging makes is hard to overstate. It's what separates a yard that looks maintained from one that just looks mowed.

A few new plantings were added to fill in some gaps and give the beds a little more visual interest. Nothing overdone. Just enough to make the layout feel complete. We kept it simple and let the structure of the existing shrubs do most of the work.

This is the kind of job we do a lot around Elida. Homeowners don't always need a full redesign - they just need someone to come in, freshen things up, and put a clean frame around what's already there. That's really what mulching, edging, and shrub care are all about. Maintenance that actually shows.

Good curb appeal isn't complicated. It's consistent. Keep the beds defined, keep the shrubs shaped, and put down fresh mulch when things start looking dull. Do that, and the front of your home looks sharp pretty much year-round.
